When I first met a professor of mathematics at UCL who introduced me to their library, I couldn’t find a single journal that would have been suitable for my approach to number theory and geometry.
Since then I wrote a few articles, but never for publication other than for particular people, e.g.
- Accelerating Innovation in Medicine, Biology and Physics – after attending a recent seminar at CERN – as part of a European funding collaboration
- Big Data for Big Pharma – one of a number of Innocentive challenges that brings problems and solvers together
- Image and Display Investigations – after my software detected the faulty pixels in the image of a medical display supplied by Barco.
Otherwise, I preferred to publish websites and blogs, thus trying and testing different content management systems and web publishing platforms. One site was lost with over 80,000 visitors!
