Einstein: Geometry and Experience

This lecture contains the quote that is relevant for my work at the beginning of the third paragraph.

My understanding is:

  • PHYSICS describes what is BEFORE our eyes
  • MATHEMATICS is a ‘model’ conceived BEHIND our eyes
  • METROLOGY, the science of measuring, is the missing link.

However, current metrology is based on meter (1D), kilogram (3D) and time (4D). In my ‘3d metric universe’ I ‘integrate’ time into measuring movement rather than measuring time.

Giordano Bruno (1548 – 1600) had that thought, too:

There is no time. There is only movement.

For if there was no movement, there would be no time.

There is no absolute up or down, as Aristotle taught; no absolute position in space; but the position of a body is relative to that of other bodies. Everywhere there is incessant relative change in position throughout the universe, and the observer is always at the center of things.
